On this, my granddaughter’s three month birthday, I am reminded of what really matters. My son and his husband adopted this special baby girl who was born at 24 weeks which is a very precarious time of development for a baby. Watching Matt and Andrew embrace their sweet baby and the challenges of her situation with such faith and love is one of the most humbling experiences of my life. Our granddaughter is already serving – mending family fences that had been unsteady, bringing so many together in prayer from around the world and helping people find their voices in support of her exquisite care. Below is a link to their story. My hope is that we can all remember what really matters in this crazy, wonderful experience we call life. When all else fall away, what really matters to you?
……Through Humility
