Today is the first day of school in our neck of the woods.  More than New Years Day, this day seems to carry the anticipation of new beginnings for me.  During this school year, consider an education about YOU.  Consider those things that you have not thought about in a long time – if at all.  During this school year, ask yourself regularly:

  • What do you long for?  What is one step you can take to move you closer to that purpose?

  • What is your voice longing to say?  What is stopping you from saying it with compassion and respect?

  • What can you do today that will surprise you about the strength and vibrancy of who you are? Of your leadership?

  • What are you willing to let go of in order to reach for what you know is possible?  Is it a limiting belief or assumption that is no longer true?  Is it a habit that no longer servers you?

This year your homework.  Take baby steps. Be patient with yourself.  Listen to the sounds of your soul.
